Driving controls
The driving controls are used to move the rover using crab motion or spot turning.
Moving in straight lines with Crab Motion
Use crab motion to move in a straight line in any direction.
- Select a value for the crab motion angle between -90° and 90°
- Select a positive or negative throttle value to determine whether the rover moves forwards or backwards
- Click send.
- when a crab motion value is selected, spot turn will be automatically set to Off
- set 0° to move straight ahead or straight backwards.
Spot Turning
Use spot turning to turn the rover right or left on the spot.
- Select spot turn ‘On’
- Select a positive or negative throttle value to
- determine the direction of rotation
- Click send.
- when a spot turn is set to On, crab motion will be automatically be set to zero.
